Menorca, summer 2026

This was the first vacation with 2 kids in which not everybody was sick, what a huge achievement!

We stayed at Aparthotel Sol parc and the whole hotel was in the shade on a beautiful beach. We only booked accommodation, no food.

Best gelato place in the world – Deliri Mao Mahon. I saw good reviews for El Turronera but did not try .

We visited one of the fish markets: there is one in Mahon and one in Ciutadella (Mercat municipal or Fish market). They might close on Mon/Sun.

A nice restaurant – Ca n’Andrés in Es Mercadal. Also a nice bakery: Ensaimadas Menorca Can Pons (Obrador).

We really enjoyed the beach and shade next to our hotel.
