Bali (November 2025)
Our first trip with 2 kids 🙂 A baby and a toddler. This post will be really short, as time is even more prescious now.
Smith to consider when going to Bali is rainy (Nov to March) vs not rainy season (April to Oct). We went in November which was a transition month and got mostly good weather.
The locations we stayed in:
- Sanur (Maya hotel)
- Ubud (Maya hotel)
We spent most of the time at the hotel resort given our situation with small kids and saw only a couple touristic things amongst which the Ubud Palace stood out (many people also go to the Monkey forest; we didn’t enjoy Ubud market as much or the museum of art). These days, one can find online plenty of info about what to visit in Bali, that suits many interests (it’s a lot about temples, rice fields, etc).
One side note about traffic, it is one of the worse I have ever seen, the Google maps estimates are not accurate.
In terms of getting around there are a couple apps: Grab, Bluebird.
Overall the country is very affordable and the people are very friendly and kind.
