Our posts are much shorter since we became working parents. Here are details from our trip with a 2+ year old.

We didn’t manage to do so much due to a combination of health, toddler, weather & other, but below is a list of things to do in Tenerife (some of which we did). The south of the island is warmer but overly touristy, while the north is more authentic. Overall, a bit too touristic for me, but maybe next time we will be able to visit more authentic local places & nature.

Loro Parque /zoo (worth it!)
Masca mountain village
Teide volcano visit
Siam aquapark / water park
City sightseeing: La Laguna & Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Whale & dolphin watching, etc.

Hi,

I’m Nicoleta from Moldova and I work in the tech world. I live in Switzerland, the 9th country I have called home. I love nature, but also appreciate beautiful old towns. I enjoy hiking, biking, zumba, yoga, skiing, salsa dancing, cooking, beach walks, etc. I also like Middle Eastern food, fruits and veggies. I hope one day to have a dog as they are too cute. I love traveling and my dream is to visit every country in the world in my lifetime (~40 so far as of Jan 2022) and enjoy every single day of this beautiful gift called life in the process.

PS Why “country196?”. Because this is how many countries there were in the world in 2016, when I started writing.
