Transylvania, Romania (June 2019)
We got invited to a wedding last weekend in Targu Mureș, Romania and we took the opportunity to tour a bit around Transylvania. My favorite places were by far Cluj and Sibiu and both have airports with low cost airlines. We rented our car from Klass Wagen in Cluj (book directly on their site!) and it only costed us 8 eur for 4 days (+25 eur for gas). We have previously used their services in another city of Romania and were equally satisfied. Romania – Brasov (July 2018)
We were invited at wedding a couple weeks back in Transylvania, in a beautiful town in the middle of the Romanian mountains called Brasov (2h drive from Bucharest, the capital). I have been there a few times on school trips, as well as with my family once, but I was curious to see how the city changed. We only had a few hours to stroll around due to the wedding. We ate at La Ceaun which had good traditional food and then I had some Middle Eastern desserts on the main shopping street (not a big fan of Papanash, which is the Romanian desert so went for Baklava instead :D).…
