Greece – Paros island (June 2024)

Posts are much shorter since we became working parents, due to limited time

We try to visit new places during our holidays, the world is so diverse. Though 25 days per year of vacation we get from work is definitely not enough, we are greatful for the time with our little family. Paros island highlights & travel tips:

– How to get there: flight from Athens, ferry boat from Mykonos or other nearby islands

– Where to stay: Parikia port or Naoussa village for more activity; Piso Livadi / Aliki for a more quiet holiday

– When to go: I prefer June & September (July & August are also ok but it’s hotter and peak season crowds and prices)

– Beaches to visit: Monastiri, Kolympethres, Santa Maria or Mikro Santa Maria, Piso Livadi, Logaras, Paralia Parikia, Krios

– Food: Lemon in Parikia port (takeaway and a few tables), Bountaraki in Parikia, in Piso Livadi: Gialos, Ouzeri, Markakis; in Noussa: Cannelait for desserts
