Romania – Brasov (July 2018)

We were invited at wedding a couple weeks back in Transylvania, in a beautiful town in the middle of the Romanian mountains called Brasov (2h drive from Bucharest, the capital). I have been there a few times on school trips, as well as with my family once, but I was curious to see how the city changed. We only had a few hours to stroll around due to the wedding. We ate at La Ceaun which had good traditional food and then I had some Middle Eastern desserts on the main shopping street (not a big fan of Papanash, which is the Romanian desert so went for Baklava instead :D). We then headed to Zarnesti (30min drive from Brasov) for the wedding, so you will see some photos from that region as well, where mountains are more prominent.
