Travel with kids – country196.com

Since I became a parent in 2022, I am starting this new section of the travel blog dedicated to good places to travel with kids of various ages, based on my experience (+places to see, things to consider). I have not yet been to all these places with kids, but I have been before and I think they are good places to return to with kids.

BEACH DESTINATIONS

Cyprus – Protaras (hotel Kokkinos – breakfast only; favorite restaurant: Vangelis Tavern; no rental car needed)
France – Corsica (details coming)
Egypt – Marsa Alam (all inclusive hotel Hilton Marsa Alam or Movenpick El Quseir; no rental car needed)
Greece – Zakynthos (hotel: Oasis studios – we didn’t stay in this one, but always saw it from it’s restaurant/the beach); Alykanas beach; favorite restaurant: To Paradosiako; no rental car needed)
Greece – Crete (Elafonisi Lagoon; flight to Chania airport; stayed at Elafonisi resort but food options are limited with kids)
Greece – Naxos (stayed in the “capital” of the island, near Agios Giorgios beach, but would love to also stay at Agios Procopios beach; Taverna O’Giannoulis was excellent; I would choose a diff. hotel next time, which includes a baby kid friendly breakfast and ideally dinner too).
